What Is The Golden Visa?
The Dubai Golden Visa was introduced to encourage and retain “talented individuals and brilliant minds” in the United Arab Emirates. This initiative aims to create opportunities and propel the UAE economy to greater success.
Investors, entrepreneurs, skilled professionals, and promising students are eligible for the Golden Visa in Dubai, subject to approval by government agencies relevant to their fields.

Golden Visa Requirements
Investors
✓ Minimum AED 2 million investment in trade license or UAE real estate
✓ Property ownership of at least AED 2 million
✓ Bank investments of at least AED 2 million for 2 years
Directors/CEOs/
Executives
✓ Recipients of minimum monthly salary of AED 30,000 (must show last 6 months’ pay slip)
Entrepreneurs
✓ Own a business in Dubai that generates a minimum annual profit margin of AED 2 million
Gifted Students
✓ Are under the age of 25 years
✓ Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.8
✓ Hold a bachelor’s degree from a university
Doctors/Researchers/
Specialists
To meet eligibility requirements for this category, applicants must fulfil at least two of the following conditions:
✓ Have at lease 10 years of experience in their respective fields
✓ Recipients of note-worthy awards in their respective fields
✓ Publication of research in any recognised journal
✓ Hold patent for an invention
Highly Qualified Individuals
To meet eligibility requirements for this category, applicants must fulfil at least one of the following conditions:
✓ Recipients of note-worthy awards in their field
✓ Recognition from the UAE or home country ministries in the form of awards or certificates
✓ Appreciation letter from home country government or certification/accreditation from respective UAE ministry
✓ Hold patent for invention under your name
✓ Minimum AED 2 million investment in trade license or UAE real estate
✓ Property ownership of at least AED 2 million

Required Documents
Basic Requirements
✔ When a title deed is issued for property in Dubai, the property value stated in the title deed must be at least 2 million AED (other emirates & DIFCA are not accepted).
✔ A clear passport copy (Passport valid more than 6 months).
✔ Old Emirates ID (If applicable).
✔ A high-quality applicant digital photo that matches the ICP specifications (Note: Please find the personal photo guidelines to be followed set by Federal Authority for Identity Citizenship, Customs & Port Security here.)
✔ Applicants from the following countries must bring their National ID (IRAN – PAKISTAN – IRAQ – LIBYA – AFGHANISTAN).
✔ Health insurance (from any insurance company in UAE).
